One Step Closer
The last time I updated you on my reproductive health it was cycle day 1. That was over a month ago. I had talked my doctor into referring me to a reproductive endocrinologist. On the 21st Andre and I went to our consultation appt. It went really fast compared to what I was expecting. Andre was tested, I had an ultrasound done, and both of us had blood work done. The results were he is fine, mostly, and I was just as expected. Both of us had a low vitamin D3 number so we'll both have to take supplements, and Andre has to take a male fertility supplement. I got a shot of progesterone in oil and was told to call in on cycle day 1. That was Thursday. On Friday, I got an early call back telling me to come in to do my baselines that day since the weekend was fast approaching. So I practically ran to Birmingham to do that yesterday, and was given the all clear to start my treatment. Our plan right now is to try letrozole and if it's successful I'll get a trigger shot on Oct. 9th. If all works out I'll be pregnant come November! But if not, we'll have to start a new cycle. I feel like I'm in a whirlwind, it all feels so fast, but I'm ready, I'm beyond ready to start this. Y'all keep y'alls fingers crossed for me!
