What's in a Text?
How is it that people text all the time, yet, it is truly hard to understand someone thru texts. Like I can say something, so simple, but if its a phrase that could be taken multiple ways, you kinda hafta guess what I mean. Ya know? Yet, we choose to talk in this manner quite a lot more often than any other form of communication. But why? What's so hard about picking up the phone, and talking over a 5min convo, instead of dragging it out into 20 texts? If its not important, I guess texts are fine, but if it is, why hide behind a keyboard? Why not just make the call? Why risk a misunderstanding, when it's something so simple? But some ppl are just like that, avoid the direct rejection by hiding behind a text, makes it easier... But does it really? In this generation, we really too much on the written word. The vocals say it all, it may not be in WHAT we say, but HOW it's said. Think about it.
